Wednesday Highlights

ASC Cinematography Super Session

Now in its 7th year, the ASC’s annual Cinematography Super Session will explore the opportunities of film making with today’s hottest technology. Last year, in an intimate setting, we introduced you to Dean Cundey, ASC, cinematographer of such works as Jurassic Park, Halloween, and the Back to the Future trilogy. BEA2015’s session is sure not to disappoint.

Career Day

Each year we partner with the NAB Education Foundation (NABEF) to host the spring NAB Show Career Fair. Don’t miss the largest career fair in the broadcast industry! Our goal is to match high-quality candidates to potential employers from major broadcasting companies such as CBS News, Cumulus Media, CNN/Turner Broadcasting, NBC, Star Radio Group, ESPN, Beasley Broadcasting, and more.  Those that should attend are experienced professionals looking to advance their broadcasting career, college students, entry-level job seekers interested in a career in the broadcast industry, or faculty looking to make connections for their students. In addition to a variety of media recruiters, Career Day inclues a series of informative sessions and one-on-one career coaching

NAB Show Floor Tours

Through our partnerships with SVG and the ASC, once again we are adding additional convention related benefits to attendees staying through Wednesday.  On Wednesday afternoon we are producing an experience that only BEA can offer, industry led exclusive tours of the NAB Show floor.  Each tour will be limited in size. Check back for more information as we approach the convention. Below is the tentative group of tours:

  • Cameras/Lenses/Equipment – ASC: Led by last year by Steven Lightfoot, ASC (Head of the Cinematography department at AFI and former ASC president)
  • Sports – Sports Video Group
  • Post-Production – TBD
  • Management & Systems – TBD
