WJEC6 Call for Abstracts and Proposals for Pre-/Post Conferences
Dear WJEC Member Organization,
As you know, the 6th World Journalism Education Congress (WJEC6) with a theme on “Change and Continuity: Journalism Education in the Digital Era” will be held in Beijing between July 6 and 8, 2023, with a post conference in Shanghai, China on July 10, 2023.
The WJEC6 is being organized by the Communication University of China (CUC) in Beijing and Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) in Shanghai. See more at: http://www.2023wjec.org
The WJEC6 is currently soliciting academic paper abstracts under the wide umbrella of journalism education. Accepted abstracts will be presented at the forthcoming conference in Beijing, China. We hope you can promote Call for Abstracts via your organization website and other channels and can encourage members to focus their submissions on the broader theme on “Change and Continuity: Journalism Education in the Digital Era.” The deadline for abstract submissions September 15, 2022 and you can read more and follow the submission proceedings at https://wjec.net/6th-world-journalism-education-congress-call-for-abstracts/
The WJEC6 will also be hosting pre-/ post conferences, for which your organization is invited to make a proposal for a pre-conference or post-conference. Pre-conferences will be held in Beijing before July 6, 2023 and post-conferences will be held in Shanghai on and after July 10, 2023. We hope your proposals can focus on major trends and issues in the journalism education in the digital era and can also help promote cooperation and exchanges among WJEC organizations.
