International Division

 

The International Division members are involved in areas such as telecommunications business practices, comparative systems of broadcasting and journalism, and international regulatory practices. The International Division actively encourages and supports global freedom of expression by media practitioners working in traditional and nontraditional media, including new communication technologies.  The division’s goals/objectives are to provide a forum for research and discussions on international media and communication; to provide regular opportunities for members to update their information and skills resulting from changes in the field of international media and communication; and to encourage the international exchange of faculty and students for purposes of research, teaching and consulting.
