Broadcast Education Association (BEA) is an academic and professional organization whose membership consists of faculty from a wide range of public and private R1, R2 and two-year institutions who teach and conduct research in all phases of electronic media and print journalism. In addition, the BEA global membership includes state-level broadcast associations and professionals from film, television, radio, and new media who are actively involved in furthering the education of students at all levels (associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, and Ph.D.).
BEA and its members take seriously our leadership responsibility to provide equal access and opportunity by fostering academic excellence, diversity, and inclusion among students, faculty, and media professionals.
