Garrett Short from the University of Indiana State and Zachary Anders from the Washington State University both took home first place prizes in the news category for faculty and students. Short is a senior aspiring to be a sports reporter/anchor, while Anders is also a senior, but aspiring to be a reporter/MMJ. Both winners had nothing but great things to say about their first BEA experience so far.
