For over 60 years the BEA has worked with the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) to create the next generation of media professionals.  The partnership between BEA’s annual convention and NAB Show has been a major part of this endeavor. Co-located next door to NAB Show in the Westgate Hotel and Casino, BEA’s annual convention attracts over 1,200 educators and students from over 400 schools with 200 sessions, events and an exhibit hall, making us NAB Show’s largest conference partner.

We work with all of our convention partners – exhibitors, sponsors and advertisers – to engage with the media faculty and student attendees.  We welcome publishers, equipment manufacturers and sellers, software companies, college and universities…..

Digital Research Presentations Sponsorship $1,500
BEA’s Digital Research Presentations are right in the middle of all the action. Running throughout the show, these presentations not only have the cutting edge research being presented, but is also impossible to be overlooked by any attendee.

Sponsor’s logos will be posted on all web, print, and onsite promotional signage of the Digital Research Presentations.

BEA Student MMJ Program $1,000 - $3,000

BEA Student MMJs are a team of undergraduate and graduate students with the task of reporting on #BEAvegas and NAB Show in Las Vegas by using and infusing a variety of story-telling methods –text, audio, video, pictures and graphics (or infographics). Student MMJs are tasked to think outside the box while reporting on the events and bring their unique journalism skills and training to life.

Daily assignments will introduce Student MMJ’s to different aspects of media, entertainment, and technology through a series of interviews and stories that cover sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, award winners and special events. The student produced content will be regularly posted on BEA’s website and through social media.

During the application process, interested students provide innovative story-telling ideas, methods and examples they plan to incorporate into their Las Vegas experience. Student MMJs will be selected by a pool of professionals and educators, and will receive travel stipends, press passes, access to the NAB Show Newsroom, and work under the guidance of two faculty advisors.
