NAB Showfloor Influencer Call for Applicants

NAB Show is seeking “Influencers” to create and share content that showcase the showfloor experience via social media channels and NAB’s digital platform, Amplify.  These Influencers should be tech savvy and forward-thinking undergraduate or graduate students at BEA member institutions.

The 2022 showfloor experience has been reimagined across four curated areas: Create, Connect, Capitalize and Intelligent Content.

Running from Sunday, April 23rd through to Wednesday, April 26th, each area will feature zones that focus on implementation, innovation and inspiration. Within these areas, and across the showfloor, attendees will have the opportunity to discover new products and services, network with peers and professionals and learn from thought leaders and innovators.

We are looking for four content creators to share their showfloor experience with NAB’s digital audience:

NAB Showfloor Influencer Role
• Capture the essence of the showfloor from an attendee perspective
• Showcase the key elements of one of the Create, Connect, Capitalize or Intelligent Content areas.
• Interact with exhibitors, attendees, showfloor learning sessions and networking sessions.
• Deliver up to 60 minutes of content per day of the show.
• Provide an opportunity for digital attendees to experience walking the showfloor.
• Bring enthusiasm, insight and a sense of discovery in the showfloor content created.

NAB Showfloor Influencer Profile
• Genuine interest and knowledge of Create, Connect, Capitalize or Intelligent Content elements of the media & entertainment eco-system.
• Proven ability to produce and deliver compelling, informative and engaging content as illustrated by a showreel or similar.
• A clear voice and perspective on the challenges and opportunities within Create, Connect, Capitalize or Intelligent Content.
• Existing social media following (preferred, not essential) to share your showfloor experience with.
• Passionate about the value of in-person interaction, hands-on product demos and shared learning.
• Collaborative approach to working with other influencers and the NAB team.

Availability
– 1st Influencer Briefing (1 hour Zoom Call) introduction to each other, the show, establish production process.
– 2nd Influencer Briefing (1 hour Zoom Call) showfloor review of specific showfloor areas.
– Influencer content plan by Friday, April 8th
– Saturday, April 23rd for team briefing, visit around the show.
– Sunday, April 24th – Wednesday, April 26th – content production.
