Our four MMJ students were picked out of an incredible group of 51 applicants from the US and abroad. Our selections stood out for their well-rounded skill sets, innovative ideas, and recommendations by their professors. These four students worked with faculty advisors Nancy Dupont and Iveta Imre to cover BEA2018 and the NAB show, which can be found below.

During my time at the #BEAvegas, I had the opportunity to meet Nada Mawsouf, a journalism student from Cairo who won the “Best of Festival” award for the student documentary competition, along with two other students from Australia, Conor Castles-lynch and Sam Soh. The students produced the documentary while they were studying abroad in Denmark. Their documentary, Nus Essan Rumantschs, is about a dying language in Switzerland called Romansh.
