A much anticipated event of the annual BEA convention is the presentation of student awards.

Students work hard all year to produce content for the contest, and this year there were over 1600 entries across ten different categories. BEA honors pieces of excellence, and the winners were celebrated in person with a special reception on Sunday during the conference.

There were over sixty first-place winners in a variety of mediums.

In addition to student awards, professors are also honored for their creative work.  The Faculty Festival of Media Arts produces content in categories including documentary, news, and sports.
