The 2025 BEA On-Location Student Creative Competiton will be produced in partnership with CBI’s National Student Production Awards. The STUDENT creative entry deadline is Thursday, May 15 at 11:59 pm PT.
The National Student Production Awards provide a great opportunity for students to showcase their work in a nationally recognized competition, with 40 categories in audio, video and multimedia!
A reminder that entries are to be original work by students (totally student-produced) for a campus media outlet or college credit course.

Please read the rules and category descriptions carefully as there have been several updates for this year.
Summary of Changes: Six new categories: Audio and Video Interviews, Audio and Video Music Production, Radio Station of the Year and Video Channel of the Year. Several categories have had their descriptions and/or time requirements updated.
Entry is now $25 per entry for BEA members and CBI member stations. BEA members can use a discount code to access the member rate. Email heather@BEAweb.org to receive a code.
Up to four finalists will be chosen for each category. Winners and finalists will be honored at the annual awards presentation in Denver as part of the National Student Media Convention.
All entries must be submitted by Thursday, May 15, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. PT.
