BEA2014 Recap & Highlights

It could have been the take-away teaching tips from BEA Ignite or the 2nd Annual Assessment Boot Camp....or the brilliant research presented during the 7th Research Symposium or a paper competition or the interactive poster sessions….maybe the excitement surrounding the awards presented to Doug Boyd (DESA)Dennis Davis (LAS)Lauren Bratslavsky (Harwood Dissertation Award) and Bridget Rubenking (New Faculty Research Grant) or one of the King Foundation's "Best of" Festival of Media Arts Awards.....the big name sessions like TV Academy Foundation's Coffee with Mike Schur (co-creator and executive producer Parks & Rec and Brooklyn Nine-Nine) or ASC's Cinematography Workshop with Dean Cundey, ASC (cinematographer for a long list of movies including Apollo 13 and the Back to the Future franchise)...talking to colleagues in the BEA2014 exhibit hall lounge in between visits to institutions, publishers, software or equipment manufacturers and suppliers or an SVG or ASC NAB Show Exhibit Hall Tour....perhaps it was all of the above that made it a valuable and successful convention for you.  As always, we thank you for your support and for making the pilgrimage to Vegas for BEA2014!
