Get ready to share innovative best teaching practices at the fifth World Journalism Education Congress in Paris…
World Journalism Education Congress-5 will be held at Dauphine Université Paris – July 9-12, 2019. With the support of 32 journalism education organizations worldwide, the Congress is designed to provide a discussion forum on common issues and interests and a foundation for supporting the continuing development of journalism and journalism education around the globe. WJEC is the biggest world gathering of journalism educators, organized every three years – following successful events in Singapore (2007), Grahamstown, South Africa (2010), Mechelen, Belgium (2013) and Auckland, New Zealand (2016).
At WJEC-5 we’re seeking the most innovative teaching ideas….so we present “WJEC-5 Ignite” – where you can share your best classroom project/exercise/ideas. Following the traditional “ignite” format, presenters get 5 minutes and 20 slides to share their passionate teaching idea.
