CALL FOR BEA2022 RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM PROPOSALS
The BEA Research Committee is inviting proposals for the BEA2022 Research Symposium and subsequent Research Series Edited Volume. Past symposia and related research books have included such topics as video gaming, sports media, big data, health communication and media literacy. The topic for the BEA’s 2020 convention is Political Communication, Culture and Society, and in 2021 it is Media and Crisis Communication. Like other symposium topics, the themes of the two newest symposia and edited volumes focus on the role of media in these environments.
Do you have a topic you’d like to suggest for the 2022 BEA Research Symposium and Research Series Edited Volume? If so, we’d like to hear from you! The BEA Research Committee will be discussing the 2022 topics at the BEA Convention this coming April. If you have a concept you would like to propose (as Symposium Chair and Editor), please submit a short proposal with the following components to Dr. Glenda R.
