* Opening date—1st quarter of 2004. Las Vegas contacts maintain the system will be up and running in time for NAB2004
* Route—the trains will travel on the east side of the “strip” and will have stations at the Sahara, LV Hilton, LVCC, Harrah’s, Flamingo/Caesars, Bally’s/Paris, MGM Grand.
* Trains—each train is made up of 4 cars and will have a capacity of 72 seats and space for 228 standing. Trains will reach speeds of 50 mph and will cover the 4 mile route in 14 minutes
* Hours of operation—6am-2am 365 days a year. Trains will depart every minute from each station.
* Fare—although exact fares have not been determined, tickets will be able to be purchased for a single ride, round-trip, 10-ride, 1-day pass, and 3-day pass.
* Future—long-term plans will include stops at McCarren Airport and Fremont Street downtown
