      Dr. Michael R. Ogden is an Associate Professor of Communication, Film & Video Studies at Central Washington University and a member of BEA since 1997. Dr. Ogden teaches courses in film, video and multimedia production, television scriptwriting, and media aesthetics as well as media management and communication law and policy. He received his Ph.D. in Political Science (1993) and his M.A. in Communication (1986) from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and his B.A. in Communication Arts (1982) from George Fox College in Newberg, Oregon. Dr. Ogden is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (Fiji, 1982-84) with almost two decades of research and consulting experience in communication policy, technology impact and broadcast media training. He is widely published and has produced several award winning documentaries and instructional websites.
