Competitive Papers Presented at BEA2002

The following papers were competitively selected for presentation at the BEA2002 convention. Not all of the winning papers are included below. Authors had the option of permitting web posting of their papers. Those wishing to do so signed a Web Posting Permission Form allowing BEA to post their papers on the BEA web site. Authors who permit their papers to be posted on the BEA web site retain the copyright of their papers and are free to submit them for publication elsewhere. Further, the online posting of their papers here does not prohibit subsequent publication in official BEA publications.
