BEA 2002 Call For Papers

The International Division of the Broadcast Education Association invites paper submissions for its annual convention, April 5-8, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The division encourages scholars to submit papers covering issues on international broadcasting, media and education. We encourage both qualitative and quantitative research.

We offer monetary awards for debut papers and recognize top quality research. A debut paper is defined as one that was submitted by authors who have not submitted papers or panels to the organization prior to the paper under consideration.

Manuscripts are subject to a blind evaluation by scholars or professionals in the field of international media or international media education. Each scholar or team of scholars should submit three copies of each of their papers in APA style including an abstract that does not exceed 100 words. No paper should exceed 30 pages including tables and references. The names of all authors, their academic or professional affiliation and phone numbers can only appear on the cover page. The cover page should indicate whether the paper is a debut paper. All authors of selected papers are expected to be present at the conference. All papers must be postmarked by December 1, 2001 for consideration. Presenters will be contacted by February 4, 2002.
