Judging Categories

There will be separate judging division for Faculty produced and Student produced IMM entries. Entries will be categorized by both content and media delivery. A separate category of experimental media which includes artistic and mixed intentions will be open for the 2002 competition. Entrants must designate a content category for each submission. Judges reserve the right to designate a change of category for submissions.

Entries will be divided into two delivery categories: 1) ONLINE, web-based; or 2) FIXED MEDIA: CD, DVD, JAZ or ZIP drive, or other removable diskette. For purposes of IMM Competition judging, 4 copies of your fixed media project must be submitted on CD-ROM only. The original delivery medium should be noted on the entry. Persons having problems submitting on CD-ROM should contact the competition chair in their respective division. Programs which cannot be opened or viewed by judges will be disqualified. The decisions of the judges is final.

Awards may not be presented in all categories if no entry meets the minimum criteria for merit. Entrants who desire to review the judging criteria may request a complete copy of the criteria by sending a self addressed stamped envelope with their submission to the competition chair.
