- Submission of Panel/Demonstration/Workshop proposals to the Interest Division Chairs (All proposals must include A/V requirements not covered by the standard set-up.)
September 3, 2001
- Submission of prioritized Panel/Demonstration/Workshop proposals to
the BEA Convention Program Chair (must include A/V requirements not covered
by the standard set-up. Late requests for special A/V gear will not be
processed.)
November 2, 2001
- Deadline for the Convention Program Chair to notify Interest Division
Chairs of the status of the Panel/Demonstration/Workshop proposals.
November 16, 2001
- Deadline for the Interest Division Chairs to notify the proposers of
Panels/Demonstrations/Workshops of the acceptance or non-acceptance of
their proposals.
November 30, 2001
- Deadline for applications for Convention Interns to Intern Coordinator.
- Submission of entries in the Juried Faculty Production Competition to
the Competition Chair.
- Submission of Competitive Papers to Interest Division Chairs. - Submission
of entries in the Juried Faculty Interactive Multimedia Competition to
Interest Division Chairs.
December 7, 2001
- Submission of Audio-Visual Requirements for division panel sessions
to BEA headquarters by COB- NO EXCEPTIONS.
January 28, 2002
- Judging decisions for paper, production, scriptwriting and interactive
multimedia competitions forwarded to respective Interest Division Chairs.
February 11, 2002
- Submission of names/affiliations/content titles for paper, production,
scriptwriting and interactive multimedia competition winners forwarded
to Convention Program Chair (including names for research in progress
session).
- Deadline for Interest Divisions to notify competition submitters regarding
status of their submissions.
- Deadline for submission of names for scholar to scholar session.
- Deadline for the FINAL naming of Moderators, Panelists and Respondents
for sessions to Convention Program Chair (all sessions must include participant
names, affiliations and presentation titles).
February 18, 2002
- Deadline for the Convention Program Chair to send names of Moderators,
Panelists, Respondents and Winners of all Competitions for sessions to
BEA Assistant Director.
- Ad copy deadline
February 21, 2002
- Program copy to printer.
March 4, 2002
- Pre-Registration Deadline (COB).
April 5-8, 2002
