DESA nominations will be accepted from current BEA members.  

Nominations for candidates are accepted starting in September each year.

Nomination package should include

• Three (3) letters of support detailing the nominee’s service record, preferably from the following:
  • Administrators
  • Students
  • Colleagues
  • Representatives from Community/Professional organizations
• Other materials may include contributions in curriculum development, fundraising support, consulting service and participation in BEA and other media education and professional associations.
• A copy of the nominee’s curriculum vitae or professional resume.
