This mini-symposium focuses specifically on immersive technologies, where the user enters a simulated world.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We seek <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.beaweb.org\/OL\/research\">papers<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.beaweb.org\/OL\/panels\">panels<\/a><\/strong> on immersive technology, including but not limited to research focusing on areas such as arts, advertising and public relations, computer\/information science, digital humanities, film, interactive documentary (i-doc), practice based research (PBR), news, and sports.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We will also schedule a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beaweb.org\/OL\/creative\"><strong>festival of creative work<\/strong><\/a> using technologies such as augmented reality, virtual reality, and 360 video via the Interactive Multimedia Competition.
