The News Producer produces daily newscasts, decides the order in which stories will be told, writes teases and other content, times news programs, edits video, and posts to the website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Essential Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n\n\n\n
o Produces newscasts for broadcast and streaming platforms<\/p>\n\n\n\n
o Writes and approves news stories<\/p>\n\n\n\n
o Balances news and feature content to create compelling broadcasts<\/p>\n\n\n\n
o Edits video<\/p>\n\n\n\n
o Writes stories for the website and other digital platforms<\/p>\n\n\n\n
o Gathers facts and confirms stories<\/p>\n\n\n\n
o Performs other duties as assigned<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Requirements & Skills:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
o Bachelor\u2019s degree in Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n
o Fluency in English<\/p>\n\n\n\n
o Excellent communication skills, both oral and written<\/p>\n\n\n\n
o Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously<\/p>\n\n\n\n
