Skills:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Broadcast Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comprehensive knowledge of sports and sports related activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fluency in English<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent communication skills, both oral and written<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum five years\u2019 experience in sports reporting or anchoring (More or less depending on market size)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Superior on-air presence<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience guiding, directing and motivating others<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to identify the developmental needs of others and to coach, mentor or otherwise help others to improve their knowledge or skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to effectively listen to fully understand problems and communicate with a team to shape a solution<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s license with a good driving record<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flexibility to work any shift<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>https:\/\/nexstar.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com\/en-US\/nexstar\/job\/Sports-Reporter_REQ-41097?locationRegionStateProvince=745d76f06d2b41738aecee630c5888a0 The Sports Reporter&nbsp;is responsible for researching, writing, capturing visual content and editing stories for multiple platforms. &nbsp;Requirements &amp;
