The ideal candidate is a confident and creative storyteller who brings fresh ideas to the table and has a strong on-air presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The News Anchor Reporter&nbsp;serves as the primary presenter of news stories and other content for all platforms in a manner that is clear, engaging and meaningful to news consumers. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Produce content for multiple platforms, including TV, internet, mobile, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work with management to enterprise and develop stories daily<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrate compelling storytelling using dynamic live shots and stand-ups, creative graphics, and use of digital and social media platforms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organize material, determine angle or emphasis, and write story according to prescribed editorial style and format standards<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gather and verify information regarding stories through interview, observation and research.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build network of sources who supply information that allows the Company to stay ahead of its competitors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shoot and edit your own news stories as assigned<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Performs special projects and other duties as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Requirements &amp; Skills:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Communication\/Journalism\u00a0or related degree required\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solid vocal delivery, camera presence, and clear enunciation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong reporting skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Understand importance of social media<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent reading, writing, spelling, grammar and organizational skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promotes teamwork and maintains attitude of cooperation with all station personnel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Operate newsroom computer systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KELOLAND Media Group is looking for an Anchor\/Reporter to join our Sioux Falls newsroom.
