Must be a team player.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Presents news stories and other content for all platforms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensures that all news content meets company standards for journalistic integrity and production quality.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Writes and delivers news stories in a clear and concise manner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work with management to enterprise and develop stories daily<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrate compelling storytelling using dynamic live shots and stand-ups, creative graphics, and use of digital and social media platforms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organize material, determine angle or emphasis, and write story according to prescribed editorial style and format standards<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build network of sources who supply information<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Performs special projects and other duties as assigned<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other duties as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Requirements &amp; Skills:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Communication\/Journalism or related degree required (equivalent years of experience may substitute for education)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>(2) years television anchoring or reporting experience required<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solid vocal delivery, camera presence, and clear enunciation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong reporting skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Understands importance of social media<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent reading, writing, spelling, grammar and organizational skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promotes teamwork and maintains attitude of cooperation with all station personnel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nexstar.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com\/en-US\/nexstar\/details\/Weekend-Morning-Anchor-MMJ_REQ-39649\">https:\/\/nexstar.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com\/en-US\/nexstar\/details\/Weekend-Morning-Anchor-MMJ_REQ-39649<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dominant&nbsp;CBS\/ABC&nbsp;combo serving the Tri-Cities, Tennessee and Virginia communities is looking for a Weekend Morning Anchor\/MMJ Our amazing community is home to&nbsp;the&nbsp;Birthplace of Country Music, Bristol Motor Speedway,&nbsp;a Hard Rock Hotel &amp; Casino plus World Class Hiking and Fishing.
