KELOLAND Media Group, in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking a Local Sales Assistant. The Sales Assistant is a key position that works within an established Sales Department to maximize station revenue opportunities from an order entry, traffic, and accounting perspective. KELOLAND Media Group is currently seeking a motivated, detail oriented Local Sales Assistant to be an integral part of the sales team.
Performs all clerical functions for the Sales DepartmentWork in collaboration with all facets of the sales department: national sales, local sales, digital sales traffic, and research.
Maintains awareness of the most current traffic policies, practices, and procedures
Enters order, traffic and accounting data using computers, ledgers, orders, and other resources.
Corresponds with customers and confers with coworkers to answer inquiries and resolve account problems.
Work with corporate A/R department to manage invoices, discrepancy claims and collection issues.
Problem-solving and deductive reasoning is required to accomplish tasks.
Prepares forms and reports.Maintains files and other business records.
Perform or assist with additional projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements & Skills:
High School diplomaPersonable with excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Strong work ethic.
Ability to work under strict deadlines.
Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, and other office equipment
Ability to work with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is a plus.
Ability to learn industry software.
