WQOW-TV, the ABC affiliate in Eau Claire, WI, is looking for a bright, talented journalist to do it all: anchor, produce, and report. In this role, you would anchor and produce our three evening newscasts on Saturday and Sunday. During the week, you will report on the top stories of the day. We are looking for a journalist with excellent critical-thinking skills. Applicants must have a degree in journalism or a related multimedia field. Newsroom experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate. Everyone on the WQOW team produces content for on-air, online, and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will embrace social media and the role digital content plays in our distribution. We provide an on-boarding process with plenty of training and coaching with personal feedback on a regular basis. WQOW is active in the community and our staff represents the station at several community events throughout the year.
