The Department of Film, Television, and Media at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) invites applications for a three-year, renewable Lecturer III position in TV Production. The anticipated starting date is August 26, 2024. Lecturer III teaching responsibilities consist of three courses each term and departmental service. For this position, we are specifically looking for a candidate whose areas of expertise include courses in the following areas:
1) Multi-camera Studio Production
2) Single Camera TV Production, and
3) Introduction to Film and TV Production.

The department is also interested in developing courses related to live media and streaming content within and beyond the context of television. The department integrates theory and practice within a liberal arts context and has a continuing commitment to integrated production and studies courses. Consequently, candidates should be willing to participate in curriculum development towards those ends. Candidates are also expected to serve on one or more administrative committees on a yearly basis.

Candidates should possess an MFA in TV/Film Production, an active professional record, and a proven teaching record of excellence.
