Job Description: WLFI-TV is seeking a Multi-Platform Journalist / Fill-in Anchor.Applicants must have strong camera presence, solid vocal delivery, andclear enunciation, and the ability to relate to viewers. This position requires strong reporting skills, the ability to develop local contacts, ability to shoot and edit video, clear writing, andgood use of video and sound in storytelling. This position also requires the ability to write and post stories to the WLFI website. Daily tasks may include anchoring newscasts, generating local stories, shooting interviews, compelling video, and promotions, writing and editing stories for broadcast and web.Must be able to handle equipment needed to perform the dailyduties of news gathering for a multi-platform, multi-tasking job. Required: one year of broadcast television news experience, 4-year college degree in broadcast news, good driving record and valid driver’s license.
