Job Description: The Elliott School of Communication invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Educator/Professor to teach courses in multimedia production and provide service to the department, college, university. The assistant teaching educator/professor will teach four courses per semester, including Visual Technologies, Introduction to Multimedia and other classes, as needed. This is non-tenure track position. Faculty with a terminal degree will begin with the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor; faculty with a non-terminal degree will begin with the rank of Assistant Educator. Both ranks include opportunities for promotion. Required Qualifications:•Master’s degree in communication or related field•Two years of experience teaching multimedia production at the college level•Knowledge and familiarity with Adobe products, including InDesign, Photoshop and PremierePreferred Qualifications:•Experience designing multimedia production curriculum at the college level•Experience teaching visual communication at the college levelSALARY.
