The State University of New York College at Cortland invites applications for a tenuretrack,
Assistant Professor of Digital Film/Media Production for Fall 2018. The ideal
candidate will demonstrate significant technical expertise and media production
experience. The successful candidate will teach in the area of emerging media
production, contribute to the Cinema Studies program, and have the opportunity to
teach courses relevant areas of specialization. Links to a portfolio of creative works is
required. Candidate will conduct scholarly research/creative activities, actively mentor
students, participate in committee work, and contribute to curriculum development.
Three-course teaching load per semester. Competitive salary.

Terminal degree (PhD and/or MFA) in communication, film, or related field
required. ABD with designated date of completion may be considered. Teaching
and professional experience preferred.
