Individual Members
BEA Individual Members are educators at academic institutions with
active interests in electronic media or other multimedia enterprises
related to teaching, research and creative endeavors. Individual membership
include lower convention registration fee and the ability to join up
to four BEA interest divisions. Individual members and graduate student
membership also receive subscriptions to our academic journals, the
Journal of Broadcasting & Electronic Media (hardcopy) and the Journal
of Radio & Audio Media. All members receive our bimonthly E-newsletters
and get access to our special online publication Feedback.

Institutional Members
BEA Institutional Members consist of colleges and/or universities that
offer undergraduate and/or graduate electronic media courses and curricula.
Institutional member benefits include but are not limited to Free membership
for Institutions students, Job Postings at no cost and discounts for
sponsorship and advertising in our journals, website, newsletter and
convention related materials.

Associate Members
BEA invites members of radio and television stations, academic research
and fellowship organizations, high schools, cable companies, telephone
companies, equipment/software manufacturers, broadcast consultants,
publishers, advertising and promotion companies, law firms, embassies,
and other national or international electronic media organizations to
become BEA Associate members. Member Benefits include but are not limited
to free job and internship postings, discounts on advertising rates
and mailing lists, access to BEA members through the social networking
component of BEAweb.org and much much more.

Student Members
BEA Student Members must have an active interest in electronic media
or other multimedia enterprises related to research and creative endeavors.
Student members have access to member only scholarships, competitions,
and discounted convention registration fees.
