BARRY O'BRIEN BROADENS BAYLISS FOUNDATION'S REACH

Pacific Grove, CA - September 12, 2006 -- The Board of Directors of The John Bayliss Broadcast Foundation are pleased to announce that they have entered into an agreement with Barry O'Brien & Co. to represent the Foundation for all advertising and sponsorship sales. Company president, Barry O'Brien, has been an active board member of the Bayliss Foundation for 8 years.

"I am excited to help move the Foundation one more step up the ladder, and continuing to work with Bayliss Foundation president Carl Butrum and Bayliss Foundation executive director Kit Hunter Franke is a plus," O'Brien said. "By working in this capacity, I feel that I can truly help the Bayliss Foundation increase funding for its intern and scholarship programs," O'Brien continued.

"Barry is devoted to the Bayliss programs and shares our enthusiasm to broaden the Foundation's reach into the radio community," noted Carl Butrum. "Kit and I are delighted to continue our working relationship with Barry on this level."

Barry O'Brien has worked in the radio industry for over 35 years, and is probably best known for his 20 years as VP of Sales at Radio & Records. He founded Barry O'Brien & Co. in 2000, and since then, has worked with companies such as New England Cable News and Pro Media to increase sales.

The Foundation's major fundraiser, the Bayliss Radio Roast, will be held on March 22, 2007, at the Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. CBS Radio chairman and CEO Joel Hollander will be sizzling in the Bayliss "hot-seat" come March! Net proceeds from this gala benefit the Bayliss radio scholarship fund. One million dollars has been distributed to over 300 potential radio broadcasters since 1986.
