Professor of Communication; College of Fine Arts Software Manager
Full-time position to begin fall 2010 Basic qualifications: Graduate
degree in Communication with emphasis in broadcast production.
(Applicants seeking tenure-track must hold a terminal degree.) The ideal
candidate will have experience with television broadcasting and
expertise in the hardware and software of the discipline, especially Mac
formats. The candidate will teach undergraduate core courses, broadcast
production, and other related courses and appropriate release will be
granted to manage and trouble shoot the hardware and software of the
college of fine arts. The Communication Center is a state-of-the art
facility housing the department and KENW, the local PBS affiliate. The
candidate will be responsible, as are all faculty, to support the
collegial and highly productive relationship between the university and
