The Electronic Media Division of the University of Cincinnati seeks
an experienced media professional with a passion for teaching for a
1-year visiting appointment beginning in the fall of 2010. The
Electronic Media Division offers a wide range of digital video, web, and
audio production classes, plus an array of writing, news production, and
media theory courses. It enrolls 200 E-Media majors who graduate with a
bachelor of fine arts degree. It is a component of the
College-Conservatory of Music, a comprehensive Electronic Media and
Performing Arts College. http://emedia.ccm.uc.edu Responsibilities will
include teaching three courses per quarter in a combination of subject
areas such as media aesthetics, media sales, advertising, history,
research, journalism, news production, and writing. Maintain regular
office hours in the division in order to advise and mentor students. The
appointment is expected to be at the rank of visiting assistant
professor with a start date of September 1. Salary will be commensurate
with educational background and experience. Opportunity for longer-term
